Oh hey..its 2018 and Veganuary

Oh wow. So I have been so busy with life that I have neglected VeganRibs! Sorry. Not sorry

So whats going on?

I'm 3 and a bit years Vegan..and still loving it! Made even better by having my vegan love by my side. We're living together and loving that vegan life. We have been together nearly 2 years and they really are my rock. We went to Berlin and i finally got to live the dream and spend all my money in Veganz..we ate soo much food in 4 days its impressive!

Sean is also working part time at a Vegan cafe soon, I mean..i have won the lottery there, they are an amazing cook and I'm lucky that I get fed proper good food every day!

3 years Vegan

Weve had vegan cafe drama in Huddersfield. Goat went ape shit and called me their least favourite customer on facebook. They told some poor love Bethany to fuck her plans to visit. It made national news..so they shut down last year. But it was taken over by a babe called Alex. She is amazing and its now called peppercorn. Deffo worth a visit if You're in the Hudds. Proper good hearty food made with love!

My life has been Crazy, I lost my job just over a year ago and then started a new one and then got diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes which gave me mad depression. So all in all its been a crazy journey. Plus lots of needles..hypers and hypos.

However its 2018 and I have a steady job and Im managing my mental health and diabetes ok! The main reason im plodding on is because of my friends and my family. Most importantly my clique of garbage vegans, 4 other people like me who are Vegan, love crips, drinking, good music and being a safe space for each other. I like cry at them all the time and they make me laugh. They are my family here! So big love to Becka, Sean, Rob and Kim.

So whats the plan..well...im not sure..im flakey..but hey i will try blog more and keep up to date on my vegan journey. Might even let sean post and share recipes on here..

Anyways. Heres to 2018 being a good year. Another year when Veganism gets even more mainstream! If you're doing Veganuary..good luck and keep eye out for the odd update.
